Counselling dates, procedure and admission in MBBS, BDS through NEET 2021

As National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of NEET 20021, it is now time to join the counselling for all the successful students. All those who have cracked the NEET exam should know what care one should take while selecting his/her dream college in NEET Counselling.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHC) has been assigned the task of counselling in compliance of the Order of the Supreme Court of India. It is after the decision of Apex Court dated 23/03/2012 passed in I.A No. 16/2012 in Civil Appeal No. 1944 of 1993 – Anand S.Biji Vs State of Kerala & Others & vide order dated 09/5/2017 passed in Writ Petition(c) No.267 of 2017 –Dar-us-Salam Educational Trust & Ors Vs MCI & Ors.

DGHC in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare holds online Counselling for 15% AIQ seats for UG courses, 50% All India Quota seats for PG courses & 100% seats in Super-specialty courses. NEET (UG, PG, SS) aspirants must visit the DGHC website by clicking here to know more about counselling dates and procedures. For UG Counselling of-

  • 15%, All India Quota seats MBBS/ BDS Seats of States (participation of the Union Territory of J&K is subject to their contribution of seats)
  • 100%MBBS/ BDS Seats of BHU
  • 100% MBBS Seats of AIIMS across India,
  • 100% JIPMER seats (Pondicherry/ Karaikal),
  • 100% AMU
  • 85% of State Quota seats of DU/ I.P University (VMMC/ ABVIMS/ESIC Dental)
  • 100% -Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Millia Islamia) along with 5% internal Quota of Jamia students
  • 15% IP quota seats of ESIC

For participation in Institutional Quota (internal) seats of MBBS and BDS in Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University, University of Delhi, Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi), internal quota seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation and Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, students are required to go for registration.
