Date, procedure and instructions for NEET-2021 Counselling

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or the NEET Exam 2021. After checking the results, score sheets and percentile, students are awaiting the date of counselling for the admissions to MBBS, BDS and other medical courses. Many of us now also want to know the procedure of counselling.

To secure a seat in the college under MCC’s MBBS Seat Allotment Process, candidates must register for NEET 2021 UG Counselling. Here are some steps one has to go through to complete his/her admission process. Before going for online counselling, keep all the information, online payment mode and documents ready with you. First, open your browser and check for Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) site

  • Open www.mcc.nic.in and check for the instructions tab
  • Open the instructions page and read it carefully
  • Application for NEET – UG Counselling, 2021 can only be submitted online through the Medical
    Counselling Committee website
  • Applications submitted through another means will be rejected and no claim shall be entertained
  • after reading the instruction, go back to the main page
  • Select the “Register Now” option to register as a new candidate
  • Fill in your Roll Number, Phone Number, and any other relevant information asked by MCC
  • to appear in the Allotment Rounds, click the Submit Button
  • also fill out your college application simultaneously
  • finally pay the counselling charge.

  • After registering, candidates will get the option of selecting institutions of choice
  • Review the Seat Matrix and the quality of a specific college of your choice
  • Candidates will be then assigned seats based on their rank
  • After this, Medical Counselling Council or the MCC will conduct a final examination of seat allocation
  • MCC will then provide the seat allocation lists for MBBS and MD
  • If offered a place in the first round, complete the admission process with the college
  • It not offered a place in first round, the candidates should renounce their ticket and apply to another college
