NEET 2021 Result, Cut-off, Score, Admission in Government Medical Colleges

NEET

More than 16 lakh candidates have attempted the NEET exam 2021 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To check the results students must visit the official website of NTA, i.e. www.neet.nta.nic.in. After accessing the site, students are asked to log in by entering roll number and date of birth. A scorecard with All India Rank scored marks, and percentile score then appears on the screen. Also, marks corresponding to the cut-off percentile are also announced with the NEET result.

Once the student gets his/her scorecard, starts the race for admissions. In 2020 cut off for the unreserved or the general category students was 720-147. For OBC students cut off was 146-113, while 146-113 for SC/ST’s, 146-129 for UR/EWS- PH, and 128-113 for OBC/SC/ST – PH.

NTA prepares an all India merit list on the basis of cut-off and marks secured by the candidates in the NEET exam. Students who score more than the cut-off are eligible for 15 per cent of all India quota counselling. All India Quota is to be filled based on NEET 2021 rank and as per the statutory regulation of MCI/NMC/DCI. For the admission to the remaining 85 per cent of seats, states are supposed to conduct individual counselling. This year NTA conducted the NEET UG Exam on September 12, 2021, across 202 cities at 3858 centres across India and abroad.

Now, the question is, how marks will be enough to secure a seat in top Medical Colleges? Experts say it is a tricky question. It depends on the merit and quota mathematics. As per norms, students from the general or unreserved category needs a 50 cut-off percentile. It means, 360 or above marks out of 720 are required in order to get admission to MBBS in a government medical college. But, this is only a criterion. In 2020 students who failed to get 580 marks missed the chance.

“We have students who scored 578 and 577 but they didn’t get a seat in government medical college”, says Tanvir Ahmed, coordinator for NEET course at Delhi based coaching institute, The Hind Guru Academy. “Students make silly mistakes and miss their chance”, he adds.

So, be ready for your NEET result in 2021. Log in to the site carefully. Don’t rush and keep calm as the extra burden on the server may cause some delay. We wish all the best to the students who have appeared this year for the NEET exam.

If you aren’t selected, don’t get disheartened. Make a fresh start, work hard and try again. If there is any difficulty or other issue, we are there to help you. Visit our site www.thehindguru.com to get proper guidance for the NEET exam and admission to medical colleges.

Clear NEET Exam 2022 easily by following these steps

NEET Mock Test 2321

People often ask the counselors, subject experts, and course coordinators, whether there is any shortcut to success in NEET Exam. The answer to this most frequently asked question (FAQ) is yet, there is a shortcut, though not as short as an aspirant wants it to be.

NEET examination paper is composed of the questions from the NCERT syllabus for classes 11 & 12. It is not an easy task to master Physics, Chemistry, and Biology syllabus drafted for the two years of senior secondary, i.e. 11 and 12 standards. The syllabus of NEET is widely spread. It is an even field for all unless you know what to study and what to leave behind. So, to get into the top several hundred students to secure a seat in elite medical colleges isn’t an easy task.

What should be the strategy to clear the NEET exam in a single attempt? Zameer Akhtar, faculty at The Hind Guru Academy suggests, “Students should make a study planner. They should keep a diary or a calendar with clearly marked deadlines. One should get the syllabus, previous year papers, and the list of important topics that get more marks.”

Noor Nawaz Khan, the founding director of the Hind Group also suggests exhaustive revisions, mastering and getting acquainted with the NEET question papers. “Students should go through the previous papers and attempt more and more online mock tests”, he says.

Is this enough? A big no. The aspirant should identify his strengths and weak points. Then a plan should be prepared in which one should gratify the chapters according to the capability. Aspirants for NEET Exam should be ready to set out long study sessions, maybe between 12-15 hours a day. This doesn’t mean one should ignore his/her health. Don’t overstress your body as it may result in failure of the entire plan. Keep yourself fresh. Take small breaks in between. Eat good, healthy food and avoid the junk, outside stuff. Get enough sleep so that you may not fall asleep during study time.

To get some extra marks and secure a place in the merit of Government Medical Colleges, students need to commit some extra time. One should focus on memorizing the topics for the NEET exam. The best way to increase your memory skills is to prepare notes of what you are studying.

Note down all the important points in a copy or a diary. Use a color pen and pencils to segregate those points. Note down your points clearly. You may be able to get them while revising, otherwise, they are of no use. Notes should be written in such a way that they should not create confusion during the time of revision.

Another good practice is to avoid marathon study sessions. Focus on weaker or difficult topics, but don’t waste time. Ask you a teacher or join good coaching for NEET where your mentor may help you to resolve the tough parts of the syllabus. If you follow these points, no one can stop you from clearing the NEET exam.

Can a weak student crack IIT-JEE?

Best Coaching in Delhi 432

It is perceived that only sharp-minded, brilliant students can crack IIT-JEE. Despite the fact that JEE is a tough examination, it is not necessary that only a sharp student may crack it and a weaker one may not. Sometimes the smartness works. A smart student, the hardworking student can beat a sharp, or a brilliant exam in his JEE scores.

To get an admission in any of the IIT’s, the aspirant needs to crack the JEE, an all-India entrance examination. There is no other way to get admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) other than qualifying for the Joint Entrance examination (JEE). JEE is considered one of the toughest competitions on this earth to get into prestigious engineering colleges. There are so many conditions to meet and so many criteria. Considering these facts, cracking JEE isn’t easy for an average student.

Experts believe that consistency is the key to success. According to Razi Akhtar, a faculty at the Delhi-based coaching Institute the Hind Guru Academy, “mentally students are more consistent. One needs to follow the study schedules holistically”, while adding that “one should be clear about his goals, no matter how sharp his mind is”.

Mental strength also works while attempting an exam. While most of the students panic while facing the tough question paper, those with mental strength fight through the last. In such cases, there is a chance that those with low capability may clear.

Another key point is the quality of efforts. Some students are more sincere even though they know their limitations. They keep on attempting and solving complex problems. Their sincerity finally pays back.

Finally, good monitoring, guidance, and quality study material become much important for the students with limited brilliance. Coaches know what to read and what to not. Coaching and guidance centers specialize in managing the enormous content and condensing it into the important ones. This results in focused study material and discarding what is not so important.

So, average students shouldn’t lose their hopes. They should prepare themselves to achieve their goal. Premium coaching institutions like The Hind Guru Academy can help such students to realize their dreams. All they need is dedication and sincerity.

Is 400 score enough in NEET to get a Government Medical College?

Score 400 plus in NEET

NEET aspirants often quiz about the minimum score they need to get into the government medical colleges. Though 400 plus is considered a good score in the NEET examination, sometimes it may not be enough to get into a good medical college.

Students often think that scoring 400 in the NEET examination may be enough to make a way into a government medical college. Considering the previous year’s results, it may work but the cut-off is always going to be higher. With the number of aspirants rising every year, competition may also increase. It may not be surprising if the cut-off for government medical colleges may get beyond 500 marks.

Preparing for the NEET exam usually requires devotion of 12-15 hours a day. It may vary from student to student. Also, it varies because not all are equal in mental state. It also depends on the foundation, i.e. where the aspirant has studied and how well he was during his school days. There are many students who aspire for full 720 marks. In such circumstances, the barrier of 400 may be breached by more students in the coming years.

“Sometimes it may work and sometimes it may not”, says Noor Nawaz Khan, the founder-director of premium coaching institute, The Hind Guru Academy. “400 is a good score, but the seats in the government medical colleges are limited. Suppose there are 5000 seats and 6000 students score 450 then 400 will not help the aspirant”, he adds.

  • So, what to do, if an aspirant wants to score more than 450 or 500 in order to secure a seat in government-run medical colleges? Here are a few points that may work for an aspirant:
  • Know your own strengths and then start the preparation
  • Learn about the exam pattern and the marks distribution
  • Go through the complete syllabus and segregate it into easy to tackle and hard to manage parts
  • Create an effective study plan and follow it strictly
  • Get quality books, preferably published by NCERT
  • Attempt the test series in quality coaching institutions like The Hind Guru Academy
  • Solve the previous year question papers and assess your problematic parts
  • Revise important topics thoroughly
  • Don’t waste extra time on topics that are well beyond your grasp
  • Get a good tutor or join a good institution for preparation. It will help you clear your doubts without wasting extra time

Also, prepare your lesson plans. Mark the high-scoring topics. Focus on the chapters that yield more marks. If you follow these rules, we are sure you may surpass the cut-off required to get admission to government medical colleges.

Scoring full 720 marks in the NEET exam isn’t impossible

NEET Coaching Near me 423434

Attempting a NEET exam and scoring the maximum 720 marks in three hours is a very tricky thing. Most of the students fell prey to depression, anxiety or stress. Though it is tough, scoring full 720 marks in the NEET exam isn’t impossible.

NEET exam question paper contains a total of 180 questions. It is a multiple-choice question or MCQ format paper. Out of these 180 questions, 45 are asked in Physics, 45 in Chemistry, and 45 each in Botany and Zoology. Each correct response gets 4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark is deducted. Half-filled bubbles are rarely counted by the OMR reader and multi responses as considered a wrong attempt.

To score the maximum marks, the student should keep himself calm, composed, and confident. You have prepared a lot to attempt this exam, so believe in yourself and your hard work. Be careful that you follow all the instructions in the examination hall. While filling in the details and filling the bubbles on the OMR sheet always be extra vigilant. Never attempt an answer in haste, nor fill in your details incorrectly.

Never care for the minor mistakes as this may not cancel your answer sheet. According to the rules mentioned by the National Testing Agency (NTA), no OMR sheet goes unchecked. Even if you have made any mistake in filling in your details it will be checked, unless there is something unbearable.

So, it’s time to answer the questions. Aspirants often ask, “What’s the best way to respond to the question paper?” It is tricky though, but the experiences suggest, one must go for the easiest one first. According to Syed Tanwir Ahmed, coordinator of NEET at Delhi-based premier coaching institute, “The Hind Guru Academy,” always start answering from the portion that is most comfortable for you”.

“Even if there are tough questions in the start and you are not able to answer, five, six, seven of them, don’t panic. Try to switch to the other paper or the next portion and surely it will work”, adds Syed Tanwir Ahmed who teaches Biology for NEET.

Most of the Gurus suggest panic and anxiety are the worst enemies in the examination hall. If the question paper is tough, it is tough for all. If an aspirant is dropping the marks, he is not alone. So, keeping calm and composed is the key to success. “Attempt the easiest questions and if you have spare time, then try to attempt the harder ones. But remember, never answer a wrong question and leave it blank. Even a drop of a single mark can get you out of the merit”, says Manish Gautam, another teacher from Delhi who helps the students in preparation for NEET.

Is NEET Physics Tough?- True or Just a Myth? – Unlocking the Secrets

Is Neet Physics Tough, really ! Are you gearing up for the NEET examination, feeling the pressure of mastering every subject, especially physics? You’re not alone. Many aspiring medical students grapple with the notion that NEET physics is exceptionally challenging. But is it really as tough as it seems, or is it just a myth perpetuated by the exam anxiety? Let’s embark on a journey to demystify NEET physics and explore how you can conquer this subject with confidence and determination.

Is Neet Physics Tough

Understanding the Perception: Why Is NEET Physics Deemed Difficult?

NEET, being one of the most competitive medical entrance exams, demands a comprehensive understanding of physics concepts. However, the perception of difficulty often stems from various factors:

1. Concept Complexity: Physics involves intricate theories and principles, making it appear daunting for many students.

2. Numerical Challenges: The subject requires a strong grasp of mathematical concepts, posing challenges for those not comfortable with calculations.

3. Exam Pressure: The fear of physics being tough intensifies due to the significance of NEET scores in determining medical admissions.

Is Neet Physics Tough -The Common Perception of Medical Students

A prevalent stereotype among medical students revolves around academic strengths, particularly in the context of biology. Some students believe they excel in biology just because their scores in this subject are higher than those in physics and chemistry. For such individuals, an ideal scenario would be an overall easy paper. However, this approach might not yield significant benefits in the end. Even if the paper is easy, their rank may not be impressive, primarily because their knowledge, especially in physics, is formula-based. Thus, the perceived advantage might not translate into a remarkable rank.

Breaking the Mold – The Unconventional Approach of Neet Students

Contrary to the stereotype, there are non-stereotypical medical students, who possess a strong grasp of physics from the beginning but struggle with biology. However, despite the initial challenges, these students manage to achieve decent scores in all subjects. What sets them apart is their balanced performance across disciplines. Their strength lies in physics or chemistry, which becomes the driving force behind their impressive rank. Unlike the stereotypical student, their success isn’t limited to easy papers; instead, their comprehensive understanding and proficiency in specific subjects substantially enhance their overall rank

Beyond Stereotypes: Mastering NEET Physics with a Fresh Perspective

Physics is one of the papers in the NEET exam that students usually find most difficult to solve. The reason is, most of the students devote their time to Biology and Chemistry and Physics either remain unresolved or a neglected topic. It is when most of the toppers score well in Physics to get higher ranks in the NEET exam.

Is Neet Physics tough now, relaxed .Physics isn’t as tough as our students perceive it to be. Though the students of the Biology stream are afraid of calculations and the derivations involved it is an interesting paper. All we need is to make a proper subject plan, a good teacher and some quality books. Quality coaching institutions like the Hind Guru Academy can be helpful to tackle the obstacles created by Physics.
